I read in the beginning of pregnancy you can get a break through bleed where your period would have been due if you wasn't pregnant for the first 3 months or something like that  x

I've had brown spotting twice and pink spotting once in my pregnancy, now 15+4 and baby is doing great! So don't freak out- brown is usually the non scary kind...but def call your dr especially if you are cramping

I would call your OB, and I know spotting is super scary, but it can also be common. I am 22 weeks today and I bled 3 times in the first trimester. It turns out I have placenta previa. It is not causing any huge problems, and is not near the cervix anymore so I have not bled again, but that is what caused my spotting early on.

I read and heard that this can happen as the placenta begins to take over. I'd call your physician just to check in. I know spotting is always nerve wracking.
