Depression Medication during Pregnancy?

Has anyone ever started or continued their depression meds starting in early pregnancy? I need to get on depression meds but im worried about birth defects with my baby. Stories anyone?

The safest one to take is Zoloft. I was prescribed it before pregnancy and able to continue taking it during, it's worked wonders for me and my baby is perfectly healthy

I got off of mine...lexapro...not worried about birth defects so much but I read a lot about the baby having to withdraw after birth and I didn't want to do that.

I got off mine, I was prescribed medical marijuana for nausea & my dr hoped it would help my depression too. It doesn't anymore so I'm going to talk to my doctor again about medication.
