Censorship

So I'm reading Fahrenheit 451 for the first time, it's been a great and eye opening book. If you haven't read it, I highly suggest it. Ray Bradbury, the author, paints a picture of a futuristic society that has permantly banned books. They became illegal, schools changed, people changed, and technology basically replaced what we have today. In the book they have TVs as walls and they can communicate with these 'people' creating no need to talk to real human beings. Anyways, there is already censorship existing in the countries we live in. In the states, popular books have been banned from public schools and libraries, and now, of late Beauty and the Beast was banned from movie theaters in certain cities. Do you think this over use of censorship is driving us away from what every human should have access to? Do you see our wold turning into a 60+ year old book?
