Do you feel SAHM judge working moms or vice versa?

I haven't really seen anybody judging working moms.

Do they? Definitely. Should they? Nope.

I don't care what someone chooses to do lol. My mom worked two jobs and my grandma took care of me, and I'm a SAHM now. I turned out great & my kids are turning out great too. I care more about whether or not you're treating your kids well.

When can we all start shaming the Dads?.. I am a working Mom, and do basically all of the organization work... signing up for summer camps, registration for school, making and dropping off foods for teachers appreciation week and other class needs, signing up for time slots for conference, doctors appointments, enrollment for sports or dance classes and buying the gear needed... Dad just shows up when told. And I don't really care so much about MY husbands lack of responsibility, but I know if I drop the ball on anything (especially with volunteering) the other Moms reaction is "wow, that Mom really doesn't have it together" it is NOT a reaction of "why isn't that DAD on top of it?"

And I don't seriously want to shame anyone, I just think if we as Moms are going to continue having this kind of debate, why do we never turn the attention to Dads? We are all raising kids here, no shame in that.

I had a lot of family who were SAHM judge me when I said I was going back to work after I had my LO. They assumed I would go part time or quit to be SAHM. I work so that money can go towards providing for my LOs future. My husband and I can afford to have me SAHM but she's got a college fund and money set aside for activities later in life. Also, we can travel more as well with my income. Besides that she's in daycare and has friends and is learning a ton. Judge me all u want...I'm providing for my little one.

Everyone judges everyone for almost everything they do. It's human nature.

I don't care either way, I know both are hard I think being a SAHD has far more stigma and judgement.

I heard a lot "there's no way I could just be a stay at home mom.. I couldn't stay at home all day doing nothing" and I feel like telling them "wait until your baby comes, leaving your house will not be on your mind" after dishes, laundry, cleaning, dinner, and caring for my family.. I'm exhausted.. I couldn't imagine working all day. Plus we have no one to watch our son
