My bfp ended in miscarriage at 5w4d. 😔 Now we're back to square one.

I did switch to a high risk practice to be prepared for next time. While my old obgyn was really good (award winning, chief of obstetrics at the hospital), he was always so busy and doesn't see high risk patients. I really, really love my new obgyn and his nurses. Super compassionate, didn't have to fight for a beta or anything. The old doc just didn't do them because it caused 'undue stress'.

The new doctor went over everything in great detail, answered all my questions and reassured me it would happen again. Didn't some pre conception counseling. I left his office with peace of mind. It's the first time in 16 years I felt listened to and empowered by a obgyn visit.

So, got the okay Tuesday to try again. I ordered opks and hpts for this cycle. Hopefully, the doctor is right and you're more fertile after an early loss!
