Boyfriend leaving for 5 months

So my SO and I have been together since senior year of high school and we just ended our sophomore year of college. He decided to join the National Guard and he will be gone for basic training and AIT...which will be like 5 months. I'm going to struggle with it. I hate to say it but I am needy.... I need cuddles. I can probably deal with the not having sex part. I just know it is going to be so hard not to see/hug/cuddle him everyday..... any advice? Here is a picture of us from Senior Prom!
