Bf too much into rap culture? 😣

My bf is arab and when I first met him I was stoked because most all of my ex boyfriends were wangsters (white/wannabe gangsters) and he wasn't like that. I told him I was happy about that. He was huge into punk music (which I like too) he has millions of punk genre music on his laptop and told me about all the concerts he went to and his style was very "punkish" and I loved it. But now that I've been with him for a year he mostly listens to rap now. Which is ok, it is always what I've mostly listened to and I think he started to listen to it more because I did. But he is like obsessed with it now and it has started to bother me a little because he constantly watches the music videos of girls twerking and all that. And he uses "nigga" jokingly a lot. And today he told me he wants to get dreads. Now I am not against people of any color getting dreads because I believe anyone can do what they please, but it's just like... really? I told him he can do whatever he wants even tho low key I don't want him to. I feel like his obsession with rap is taking a negative effect on him and I just want my old punk boyfriend back but don't want to offend him 😩 advice?
