I think they need to be cleaned maybe 3 times a day, and consider changing the jewelry and getting a longer bar.

keep cleaning them 1-2 times a day with either soap or saline. avoid alcohols, oils or salt. definitely go and see a piercer, bumps like this are usually from pressure (a bad angle or ill fitting bar) or poor quality metal. figure out what material you were pierced with!
