I never expect gifts for anything. But I wouldn't be mad if my hubby surprised me though.

I personally find Mother's Day and fathers day a pain in the butt. I feel like I have to give my parents stuff they don't want or need because my mom will pout if I don't.

I've already told my husband it's totally cute if our kid makes me stuff in the future but for him to please never feel like he has to also buy me something. It's just not my thing.

I enjoy birthdays and anniversaries because those feel like special celebrations. But Mother's Day, Fathers Day, and Valentine's Day just feel like made-up, annoying wastes of money.

Had my baby 2 weeks ago and I'm not expecting a gift. I'm good with flowers if my husband wants to do that but otherwise I'm not going to be upset if I don't get anything because she's so little.

Being and becoming a mother is the only gift that matters....we are mothers everyday so I don't need a special day to be recognized...😚☺️

I have other kids already so this doesn't apply to me 100% . I'm also expecting very soon.  I'm fine with no gift .  I usually just want some time with all of us as a family.  I would be hurt if my husband didn't acknowledge me at all on mothers day , but a gift isn't necessary . We are in the process of buying a house which is gift enough!!!!!

My mom always gave me little doggy mommy day gifts so yes I expected a gift from my hubby when I was pregnant with my first.  I believe he got me flowers and candy if I remember correctly

I fully expect to celebrate! I don't care about anything big I just want a nice card or something I can save and put in my baby's scrapbook. I'm 24 weeks, I may not have my baby yet but that doesn't mean I'm not a mother. I'm returning the favor to my husband as well for Fathers Day.

My husband asked me what I wanted this year and I'm 22 weeks right now! I wasn't expecting anything so I was caught off guard. I said I couldn't think of anything I wanted or needed! He told me to think about it because he really wants to get me something!

I'd feel that I'd be cursing myself. To me, I'm not a mom yet. I'm an incubator right now. I haven't even felt the fetus move yet. I wouldn't want to chance anything by thinking that yet. Also, even though I'm a dog mom, I would never lump myself with moms of humans. It's a totally different story.
