Sleeping in crib?

When did your baby start sleeping in their own room in the crib? I feel like I'll never be ready 😫 I'll be so paranoid!

1 week!! Best thing. Mind you my mom told me if I don't do it soon I never will lol.... as much as I adore my boy I knew I couldn't handle sharing my bed 3 ways lol. He is 10 and he has always slept in his own room. Preggo with #2 and will do the same!

It's not recommended that baby sleep in their own room alone until 6 months at the earliest.....the preference is 12 months....they are supposed to be in the parents room until 6-12 months to reduce the risk of SIDS drastically

The plan was at 1 year to BUT it sort of just happened as soon as we moved into our new home at 10 months. She sleeps better, we sleep better... actually she started sleeping through the night once she was in her own crib in her own room. It was difficult... I was tempted to sleep on her floor!

We started sleep training at 6 months. But our daughter had major issues with reflux, making her puke at night 6-10 times.  So she slept on our chests for 6 months while on zantac. At 6 months she was taken off zantac slowly and once we saw she's good without it, we started sleep training. It was a week from hell, coming from 6-8 hours at night on hour chests, waking up 5 times during the night, crying fits..etc.. to her on her own in the crib sleeping on her belly ( with a monitor on her foot ), because she got used to it like that on our chests) for 8-10 hours a night. Uninterrupted sleep. First night she cried for 35 minutes  (using the 5, 10 15 minutes method, to check on her) by might 7 she was smiling at us when placed in the crib, falls asleep on her own within 10 minutes of cooing and playing with her thums. No crying at all.
I won't lie, the 7 nights sleep training were a nightmare... but it had to be done. She's finally getting the sleep she deserves at night and so are we.

Moved our son at 4.5 weeks to his own room. He slept so much better in there than in ours. He's now 20 months and has always been in his room since and sleeps wonderfully.

We moved our little one at 6 weeks. She was a loud sleeper, and we have a wonderful monitor so I felt comfortable moving her.

Once he started sleeping 6-8 hours a night which was around 9 weeks for our son. At 5 months he started sleeping 6pm to 6am and is still on that schedule at 20 months 👌🏻

I put the crib in my room with baby in it from day one. I pull the crib about two feet from my bed so it's super easy and I can have them close but not dangerously in my bed w me.
