Is anyones 9 month old baby not crawling yet? Mine has been trying but just scoots backwards lol

My son isn't crawling. He'd much rather stand while holding something and try to walk. I've already decided he's going to walk before he crawls. Everytime we try to get him to crawl he just rolls lol.

My girl didn't start crawling until 9.5 months. She was pulling herself to stand before she crawled.

Mine started crawling at 6 months and can walk along side of furniture and pull him self up

Mine is close, he rocks back and forth. He always hated tummy time and would just roll over unless we held him in place, which felt like torture. So he was a little behind on the crawling aspect, he is developing just fine otherwise.

Mine is no where near to crawling all he does is roll over constantly, spins, sometimes pushes himself backwards with his hands and he loves to stand up and walk whilst we hold his hands.
