Mucus Plug - Second Pregnancy
Hello ladies!
I've been scouring the internet and know that all pregnancies and women are different.
(And sorry this post got longer than I'd originally anticipated!)
I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance / words of comfort & wisdom regarding:
My mucus plug (‘bloody show’) came out this morning...
...but then more of it (not bloody, just looked like whitish/clear organic matter) came out in the night.
I've been reading that this happens earlier with subsequent pregnancies (with my first, it came out all at once (or so it seemed to me) at around 2pm, and I went into labor that night, about 8 hrs later, especially due to the increase of Braxton-Hicks contractions (of which I've had many thus round and zero the first time), which can also lead to earlier dilation/effacement (I was 1-cm dilated as of my last appointment last Friday).
Can you (if you're open/willing) share your experience? I'm getting kinda anxious again because the first delivery wasn't the easiest (although I’m *crossing my fingers* this one goes well and through the way we’re hoping), AND we’ve had some setbacks since before I started my leave, so I still feel slightly unprepared for baby #2 arriving ASAP.
Help! Words of encouragement and comfort are super welcome!!
