full term??

What do y'all consider full term pregnancy and safe for baby to be born?

Ob nurse here. Medically speaking a pregnancy is "term" if it is over 37 weeks.

Full term is 40 weeks, and my doctor told me that after week 35 it should all be good.

37-39 is early term. 40 is full term.

My doctor said 37 is 'term' but not full term. There's still a chance that the lungs aren't fully developed, my friend had her baby at 37 weeks and he had to stay in the nicu for 3 days for lungs not being fully strong enough to go home. Not a huge deal and he's completely fine,  but still not ideal. 39 weeks is full term according to my dr.
