when to stop using car seat

What age do you stop using car seat on the stroller and just use the stroller itself ????? Here's the stroller ! My baby is 12 lbs and 2 months ... is it too early to stop using car seat ?

Most manuals will say not to use the stroller alone until baby can sit up unassisted or about 6 months old. If the seat reclines a decent ways back, I'd say 4 months or so if you really want to. We started a little after six months. Before then it's more of a hassle to take them in and out of the car seat than it is to pop the seat on anyways though.

I stopped using the carseat around 4 months, but only for little strolls and I had it reclined back. I stopped using the carseat totally when my daughter could sit up unassisted.

I stopped completely when they outgrew the infant car seat. I tended to use the stroller with the car seat in it only when they were already asleep or I was hoping to get them to go to sleep though...

He really going weight limit and I a big indicator for me was when my daughter kept trying to always sit up and look out and got mad when she couldn't. She was around 7-8 months

I switched when my daughter was 6-7 months old and she could hold herself seating up :)

I didn't do it with my son until he was able to sit up on his own without my help

When my son could sit up unassisted I was ok with him being in there without the car seat, and I would use some blankets to prop him a little extra anyway. Around 6 months. But it was also winter at that point so it didn't happen often anyway lol
