Grandmother Name Issue!!!
Anybody else having/had an issue with a grandmother wanting to be called Mawmaw? Or does anyone understand where I'm coming from when I say Mawmaw and Mama are just too similar?? This is actually starting a family issue and my husband doesn't understand the big deal! Anyone?!
**I don't understand how some say "just let it go" and "let her be called whatever she wants to" If I didn't strongly feel against this, I wouldn't make it such a big deal. She gets her way with everything, but this is my child and literally the one thing I have asked of her. Idc if it's a southern grandmother name, there are soooo many other names out there! I just ask that mama or "Mawmaw" stays my name.
