Who on here is natural?

Just curious about your hair journey. Did you big chop, what's your favorite style. If you aren't natural, how do you maintain healthy hair with a perm. Sometimes I miss my perm, but my hair was so damaged.

Natural since 2011, I was starting college

I did a big chop lol one day I just handed my mom the scissors and told her
To cut it all off the best way she could and this is what she did. 
 These days my favorite go style is the puff I love it 😍

Or sometimes just an Afro when I'm feeling unruly lol

Or sometimes two puffs

I love the fact that I did this, I feel so beautiful as a black woman just to embrace the beautiful hair that naturally grows out of my head, I'm never going back lol

Sometimes I feel like doing the big chop again, I just get a sudden urge 🤷🏾‍♀️

I've been natural since 2004. I have let it grow then chopped it all off, then let it grow and chopped it again; now it's long again. I only use protective styles for my hair.

I messed up my hair dying it red for 2 months. I chopped it from bra length to short above the shoulders and I love it short. I honestly feel sexier with my natural curls. But I still dye my hair black. I have this ugly ashy brown (dark blonde) with gold streaks for my natural color. 😬.

I don't wash my hair for a week after I dye it, I have this essential oils elixir I use for growth, and I either use leave in conditioner spray, conditioner &I oil water spray, or I wash it with conditioner. Depending on if I have time to air dry my hair. I hardly use my straightener now that I'm getting used to putting on wigs properly, but every now and then I throw in my clip ins and straighten my hair.

I started doing the wigs because I love the bright colors and hair styles but I hated the damage it did to my curls. Now that I have my curls back I don't do anything to them.

Also I use teatree oil for my dry scalp.

I've relaxed my hair ever since I can remember. Last year I went natural. I just stopped relaxing it and when it was about 2 inches long I cut the relaxed bit off. It's now about 5-6 inches long and I absolutely hate it. Everyday I come super close to just relaxing it. It's super hard to keep tidy and just looks a mess all the time. Needless to say, I regret going natural and will probably relax my hair one of these days.
