Why do they have a lock on their phone in the first place? And why do you need to be on their phone? Yhe only reason is need my husband's phone is to find my own. If you can't trust someone, you shouldn't be with them. But if they lock it and you ask....for whatever reason, they shouldn't hesitate

I think it depends on the length of your relationship. A few months? Probably not. Living together, phones on the same bill that you both pay? No reason to keep things like that from each other.

Sure but it's not like either of us asked for the password. It was more of a "hey can I use your phone to google something?" "Sure my password is _." And that's the way it's always been. No need to keep it a secret but at the same time no need to demand it either 🤷🏻‍♀️

You don't have a "right" to know his password. It's good to have one on your phone in case it's stolen or something. If you're in a trusting relationship he'd willingly let you see anything you wanted if you just asked to look. There shouldn't be any secrets in a relationship. If you have insecurities you should talk about them, and if he's betrayed your trust and you can't move forward you should end things. Honestly if he's doing something he shouldn't be chances are he's going to cover his tracks anyhow.

In my opinion, he has a right to his privacy. My husband and I know each others passwords for everything, but we've been married a while and we'd trust each other with anything, and we know we have nothing to hide or be ashamed of. If you were talking about your husband, I'd say it's a little suspicious if he doesn't want to tell you his password, but I'd give your boyfriend a pass on this one.

I don't know if I would call it a "right" but if he doesn't want you to know there is for suuurreee something bigger he doesn't want you to know. One of my female friends never lets guys know her password and is neurotic about her phone and it's cause she's always lying and cheating.

If you have been together a while like at least a year and live together then there really shouldn't be to much hesitation. The word boyfriend always makes me think that it hasn't really gotten serious. If you guys haven't been together very long then I would say no.

I think yo should know it. I have my husbands. I don't go in it. I did one time, but that was to get some of his friends numbers without him knowing because I was throwing a surprise birthday party for him. Plus if my phones dead or isn't working I use his to call my mom or my mother in law or whoever I need to. He has my password. The only reason we have locks on our phones is because of work. We work in a factory and sometimes I don't carry my phone I set in on my work table ( especially if I don't have pockets ) I don't want someone else getting in there. Or if we accidentally forget it somewhere.
