My Sister and I are both Pregnant. I am 24 weeks and she is supposedly 22 weeks. I have been Straight up and honest with my pregnancy telling them everything about the baby I don't smoke or do any kind of drugs and I am showing I am pretty big. Now on the other hand my sister is suppose to be 22 weeks she is smoking cigarettes and pot and doing other drugs and not showing at all her stomach is flat I don't see how she is 2 weeks behind me and I'm just curious about her baby but she is being so secretive about it. Should we be worried about her baby?

She said that her last doctor visit that her doctor told her it's ok to smoke cigarettes and Pot and her baby weighs 1 oz and healthy at 22 weeks.

I am 24 weeks and my baby weighs about 1 pound and 8 ounces

She sounds like she's lying. No doctor would say it's safe to smoke during pregnancy. That's just patently untrue. But it's her body, so why worry about it? In a couple months, she'll either give birth or she won't, right?

Everyones pregnancy is different. If You dont believe her, ask her if you could join her for her next doctor appointment.

I mean everyone shows different so I would be more worried about the fact that she's doing "other drugs". Definitely not okay for her or baby

If she actually said 1 oz I can guarantee you she's lying, mine weighed 7 oz at 19 weeks

I wouldn't be concerned with how she looks. But if she's pregnant and smoking and doing drugs then I would be super concerned. No doctor would ever say that's fine. Someone needs to sit down and have a chat with her. Like ASAP.

I would be worried if she's doing "other drugs" for sure.

Other than that though, the details about her pregnancy are between her and her dr and whether or not she chooses to share that information is up to her. You don't have a "right" to know. Some people are more private than others.

I've heard of Drs okaying pot and cigarettes during pregnancy, especially if the mom was a heavy user before pregnancy. Quitting could be worse for baby then continuing use. But I've never done either, so no personal  experience to speak from. Again, that's between her and her dr though.

My sister and i are pregnant, 2.5 wks apart. I'm further along than her (38 wks 3 days, she's 36 wks) and I'm much smaller than her. I basically look like she did at 25 weeks. And I've had more kids then her so most people would say i should be showing more. Every pregnancy is different and you can't tell anything about a pregnancy based on how big a bump is.
