Should I try to get rid of the dogs?
Me and my mother both split up from our partners and decided to go halves together on a house. This means we are both paying half of all utility bills etc. I found out I was pregnant, and my mom got two dogs. The dogs are puppies, only 17 weeks old but they're running wild around the house (peeing, pooing eating everything) and I am only 20 weeks pregnant. Before my mom got the dogs she knew I was pregnant but still went ahead even though I told her I didn't really want them. Today one of the dogs was really aggressive to me and actually drew blood. They don't like the sound of our neighbours child crying and I'm really worried for the safety of my child. Financially I can't afford to live on my own as ex-partner has abandoned me and baby so I need to share this house with my mom. By the time the baby is here in approx 4 months I really don't feel that the dogs would have been well enough trained as in the 9 weeks we've had them they haven't even learnt not to pee in the house. They are puppies and I get that they will misbehave but I am genuinely concerned they will hurt or cause harm to the baby. Am I wrong to ask her to get rid of the dogs?
*just to add, my mom doesn't seem to be actively trying to train the puppies. As we are paying half of the living costs I would have expected to have had more of a choice about getting them, I did say to her I didn't want them but she still went ahead
