Happy first mother's day mommies!! Wow, I have been waiting for this day, this day when I can proudly say I am a mom to the most amazing little guy in THE world!! Then all the well wishes came in, and then I read everyone's posts and marveling in the amount of love that is out there for these magical, strong, caring, nurturing women.

Then I looked at my sleeping son...will he think of me like that? I don't have the strongest relationship with my mother...will he find it difficult to find words to describe me on this day like I did my mother? Puts a lot of pressure on me. It has made me worry, and be a little afraid of the 30year older me... But I promise I will work everyday to earn your love and respect my boy! You deserve to be proud of your mom, to be nurtured, to be taught strength and love and kindness...
