Why doesn't my husband want to have sex??

I'm 30 and my husband is 33. We got engaged after 8 months and married 5 months later. Sex was great in beginning. He was the first guy I ever felt that connection with and I felt good about myself and my body when I'm with him. He was the first guy I bought lingerie for and wore for. We even had this funny thing where we'd go randomly get a little toy to try out. About six months in it wasn't sex every other night anymore. I started to feel like I wasn't turning him on anymore or that he wasn't as attracted to me. He'd say he was tired. But now being 6 months married I'm always having to ask or try and touch him here and there to let him know I want it. But he always says no. Wth??? We have it maybe once a week if even that. I just don't understand why I'm the one wanting it more than him, and why he doesn't even get turned on or "needs it." I don't ask him as much as I used to, I finally gave up. But he still knows that I probably want it, so why is it such a chore to have sex with your wife? Idk if it's low testosterone, I just don't get it 😱

I'm in the exact same boat.. except it might be more sad because we're both 21... should be the time in our lives where we should be fckn like animals! I literally have to beg him, and he usually says no. No intimacy at all anymore. He doesn't even kiss me or hug me hardly ever. We maybe have sex once a month if I'm lucky. I know he's not cheating, he claims that he's depressed and just isn't turned on anymore (and that it's not me). Which makes some sense because I have noticed a change in his behaviors. I'm 7 months pregnant too, so sex is something I want several times a day, and I haven't gotten any in a while, and the further along I get, I know the less opportunities I have because I'll be so big it won't be comfortable. So at this point I feel like I'm gonna have to wait till after the baby, and hope something changes for him and wants me again. It's extremely draining on myself and the relationship and causes me to become passive aggressive with him. I just hope it changes. And I hope the same for you!! Just know that when he says it's not you, he probably means it and that it's probably just stress or low libido or something. Just ask him about it, but not in a blameful way, just be open and willing to understand

I'm 24. I have been with my husband since I was 16. My husband is 26. We have been married for 2 and a half years. I can tell you at my age, having been with my partner for as long as I have that your relationship shouldn't be just all about sex. We have a very healthy sex life. But we both understand that sometimes, either one of us might need space. Sometimes it really just boil down to being tired, or not being in the mood. There are also times when mentally you might not be doing so well. You might have so much junk from you day to day weighing down that it just dampens things.

You should possibly work on finding other ways than sex to connect. Sex isn't always going to be there. And who knows when working on other ways to connect you might reignite that spark.  It's not wrong to want that intimacy, but your relationship shouldn't relove around just that.

I'm 29 and SO is 25 and we have been together four years in a couple of weeks. We have sex 3-4 days a week. It seems like it's normal to slow down. I'm the one who always wants it but he he does it too. I would sit down and have a serious talk about your needs.

My husband is 28 and I'm 22. We met when I was 19, he was 24. We were very active right after we met for about six months or so. Then is dipped off. We tried for a baby so were naturally more active, but throughout pregnancy and now new parenthood, it's back to a drastic low. Maybe one every other week. I blamed myself for so long, but my husband finally worded it like this. He said imagine sex is a chocolate cake. You really like that cake! But sometimes you just don't want cake. That's how he would feel. He loves it, really enjoys it, but doesn't want to do it. I'm finally starting to get used to it, granted second degree tearing definitely helped 😂
