similac total comfort or similac sensitive?

Has anyone tried these and which seems to work for your LO best? I Bf now but want to switch baby, not sure which she'll tolerate better. Just looking for some input before I purchase one.

Similac pro sensitive made my baby super constipated.

We use similac pro sensitive. We tried total comfort but it made her have painful gas and it was so thin she constantly hungry. She's been on the sensitive for over a month and she still gets gas sometimes but it's because she is a bad back sucker when eating, not from the formula. I also add mylicon to every bottle to get rid of the foam by literally only 2 drops does the trick so she doesn't even get anywhere near what the dose would be. We tried the full dose and it actually made her tummy very hard because if you don't get them to burp really good it gets trapped and my LO is a hard burp.

We had baby previously on similac pro sensitive and it made him really gassy and it was painful for him. It also gets really foamy when mixed and I think that contributed to the gas.

I got 3 samples from Similac. One is a full sized tub and the other 2 aren't. You can sign up and get them in the mail for free. We've used pro sensitive a couple times and I bf and he's done ok on it.

I also like to add that my son had severe colics. I used a mixing pitcher from Dr. Brown and Dr Brown bottles. When he was a newborn up until 4 months, I would mix his formula in the pitcher and pour it in a bottle. I would make a days worth or half a days worth (I breast fed for 3 months) and stored the premade bottles in the fridge and pulled and warmed them as needed. I did anything to prevent bubbles and gas. Once his colic issues was resolved with probiotics, I used room temperature purified water to make his bottles. All formulas do bubble up, I found that instead of shaking bottle to move it in a clockwise until formula mixed was better for bubbles.

Later on I shook the bottle since he outgrew issues. Let it stand for a few mins to help bubbles pop on their own. I beliebe he dr brown bottles did help with the bubbles.

I would ask your dr for samples or  subscribe to similac and they will send you samples. My baby took well to the similac sensitive, we tried several formulas before settling on that one. If you are BF and  eating dairy free because your baby gets ecazema associated with dairy, your best bet would be sensitive or a complete dairy free formula.

Similac for babies with dairy problems and or other allergens has:

Sensitive (orange lid)
Pro sensitive ( gray lid)
Total comfort (lilac)
Alimentium (purple)

And all of them come in normal and NoN GMO.

My baby got really bad diarreah and gas from the non gmo ones, but responded well to regular and it's cheaper.
