Hello second Trimester 🙌 *fitness related post!!*
Finally cleared to start back on my workout routine! Of course since I've been a lame duck I need to take it slow so today I started with a prenatal yoga workout video that consisted of various yoga poses, squats, modified pushups, side planks and lunges! It felt GREAT to get back into it! its so weird to see the scale go UP, after years of dedication and hard work to get it DOWN.. BUT, I know it's a healthy gain.. And so far in 13 weeks it's only 5 lbs. But a huge part of becoming fit is learning to change your mindset... So its kind of a mindfu#ck! Haha. My goal is to have an all belly pregnancy and gain only 15-20lbs, which my doctor agrees is a healthy gain for me since I was (technically) still 15 lbs overweight for my height.
Anyone else working out throughout their pregnancy?!
