Too early to take a pregnancy test ? 🤔

My boyfriend & I are trying to conceive & have been tracking my cycle...my period is due in 9 days he keeps trying to get me to take a test now but I'm pretty sure it's too early. So my question is how early did you ladies take your first pregnancy test & got accurate results ? Thanks in advance 🙂

Depends how long your luteal phase is. If it's only 12 days, then being 9 days before your period means you're only 3 days past ovulation. It's impossible to get a positive test at that point because implantation hasn't even occurred. Bottom line, it's days post ovulation that matter more so then days before your next period. If you're charting temps and cervical fluid, then you should know how many days post ovulation you are. I think the earliest I've heard of a positive is at 8 days post ovulation and it was very very faint.

I tested at 12dpo 15dpo and 17dpo didn't get my first positive until 5 days after my period was late
