Cervical mucus & discharge checking

Hey! I've recently become really curious about my body when it comes to my menstrual cycle. I've tried to notice and recognize what comes out of my vag but I'm not sure what's the difference between CM and vaginal discharge. And I think I can't reach my cervix plus I feel uncomfortable trying.

I'm really lost. Any tips?
