Would you ever consider being foster parent?

Why? My parents were foster parents to children with disabilities and i certainly want to do it when i'm ready.

My parents were foster parents to 75 kids in 15 years. Disabled and not disabled. All kinds of issues. They adopted 6 of us. 3 of us have problems. So I would do the same thing.

I don't think I could. I also think people who shove their beliefs down others throats and have disgusting views shouldn't be foster parents.

Give me all of the kids IDC!!! I would have a huge mansion just filled with kids in need. Hell I'd run an orphanage if I could.

My dream is to have a huge property and a bunch of kids, troubled youth, and rescue animals (horses, pigs,chickens, dogs cats etc) and just have the kids spend time working with the animals or on the farm, help them stay out of trouble while teaching them responsibility. Like a pitbull and parole type sanctuary but for animals adults, kids troubled youth, kids with a disability u name it I want everyone to come and learn things or just get away from reality. That and have a place on the property for people to stay like a rehab center idk the lost really goes on. But I think rescuing animals and having a program for people with a troubled life to work with the animals is a good way to keep people and animals of the street

Yes, it's something I'm considering for the future. I can't do it right now because I'm pregnant with our fourth child so our home is at max capacity. I don't have the space to provide for another child. But a few years from now if we can afford to purchase a bigger home, or if not, when my first one or two kids move out, I will. And I'd like to say that I would take on children with or without disabilities but it also depends on the disabilities and what my home can accommodate at that time but I have extensive experience with dealing with children that have fetal alcohol syndrome, autism and mental health issues so I hope to help someone someday.

We would love too, we need to get a bigger place to live first. My husband and his siblings were thrown into foster care as children, it would be amazing to open our door to kids in need.

I've always felt called to be a foster parent. Hubby and I decided when our kids are a little older and not needing so much from mom and dad and starting to get involved in their own things, then we'll start fostering.

I said yes to non disabled. Why? Because I can't take care of a kid with a severe disability. I'm not a good fit for that. I'm patient; but only to a point. Things bother me, and I wouldn't want to make a kid feel bad because I can't take care of them the way they deserve.
