Rape culture is very much alive in America. Victims are never believed, when a rapist has presses charged against them people are for some reason concerned about their future but don't seem to think about the victim or potential other victims, rape is a crime in the US but rapists aren't given the max sentences.

Definitely an epidemic. When we stop convicting people b4 proven guilty then I'll believe it's a rape culture. When kids start believing their entitled to someone's body just because, then I'll believe there's a rape culture, when people stop saying everything little thing is rape, or when blanketed terms like "all men are rapist" or "all men have an inherent desire to rape or cause harm to a woman, then I'll believe it's a culture. When women need 4 men to witness her rape and testify on her behalf then I'll believe it's a rape culture here in America. Until then rape is an epidemic. I refuse to use symbolism in reference to rape.
