Am I still a virgin?

Hey Ladies, I need help with a serious question and it's a touchy subject but I need to know. Last year I was raped and I was a virgin, can I still be considered a virgin even though it was against my will? Or is it considered to be gone seen it did enter?
Please answer I need to know you opinion! This has been bothering me forever.

As CSA survivor myself, I think virginity is an absolutely worthless concept.

But if you want to consider yourself a virgin - and if that makes you feel good about yourself, then you absolutely are.

Most people who make a huge deal about virginity don't even consider that for many many women, their first sexual experience was an act of violence. When you bring it up to them, in my experience, they backpedal about what counts as sex and what virginity means pretty.

Regardless, nobody is going to argue you on that point - and if they do, they're horrible.

You're in charge of your sexual narrative, you're in charge of how you see yourself and what value you have based on that narrative. No matter what happened to you, nobody can take that away from you and nobody has the right to judge you.

You weren't mentally prepared and physically ready, if you want to you CNA consider yourself a virgin because it wasn't your choice.
