Okay so baby Savannah is almost 2 weeks and she is eating good when she was 1 weeks old the Dr weighted her and she was already up to birth weight but she is using me as a pacifier would it be okay to give her one...

I was hesitant to give my son one to early only becuase I had such a hard time bf my daughter and she had nipple confusion,  so I waited a while but that's the only reason you can give her one and then see how she nurses... other than that nope! Nothing wrong with having some help, babies have a natural need to suck and if a paci helps, nothing wrong with it! Neither of my babies liked them though 😫 I'm still my 4 month sons "paci" lol

My doctor actually suggested to me to give my daughter a pacifier. She was using me as one and it had my poor nipples raw! I had to go through a few different brands (nuk, hospital one, gumdrop) she hated all but MAM. That helped so much! I healed up just fine. And she has not been effected at all by it. Still eats like a champ 🤗

She's not using you as a pacifier she's trying to build your supply
