boss spilled the beans

I'm a teacher and told my principal I was pregnant early, so that we could make plans for next year.  I do kindergarten with special needs and typical children, and this year was rough.  I wanted to take next year off from special needs since its pretty stressful, and I had a student this year who would punch and throw objects.  I can't restrain him appropriately while pregnant, so I thought it would be best...plus, I would be out 3 months.  My principal seemed fine with this. But, she sure did tell the entire special ed department I was pregnant yesterday during their planning meeting. People have been telling me congratulations ALL DAY.  🙄
