How do you guys prepare your bottles?

I'm a ftm and I'm just wondering how everyone prepares their formula fed babies bottles. Like what your routine is, if you make them ahead of time, etc. Hope this makes sense lol

Some moms I know of mixed like a pitcher of formula to get them thru the night. Just pour and heat! But it works best if you know your baby's eating schedule and stuff by that point, as the formula isnt good for very long that way and you don't want to waste it.

I always just made each bottle as I needed it. If it was a rough night and i was really tired, I filled bottles with warm water in advance, then just added the formula later. My son was okee dokee with room temp bottles.

Room temp bottled water poured into bottles, which are fine at room temp for a few days if unused. Then put measured out formula powder into little containers you can easily pour into the bottles when needed. All you have to do when you need a bottle is dump the pre measured powder into the waiting bottle of water, shake and you're ready to go. I would keep bottles of plain water in the diaper bag or on my night stand, and keep the little container of powder next to the bottles, then when needed I'd just dump and mix and feed it to him. No need to worry about the formula going bad because you're making it as needed, but the little extra step of pre measuring means that it only takes a few seconds and milk is ready! I only used this method when my baby was older 8-12m) and didn't mind bottles at room temp so this method worked great for us! If I have to supplement my next baby I will do the same again! This is the formula powder dispenser we used for overnight bottles, the little funnel makes it so simple. I also used my medela breast milk storage tubes to store the powder for the diaper bag, enough powder for a 6 ounce bottle of water fit perfectly in the tube.

I make them when I'm ready. We have a water cooler I use my daughter has always drank room temp bottles, I used to leave just water in bottles on the counter before I went to bed to eliminate a step and just mix the formula. You don't want to or make them the bottles are only good for so long once their mixed

We wash and the sterilise all our bottles and then fill them with freshly boiled water. We leave those on top of our microwave and add powder to a bottle each time we need one. We don't heat our bottles, little one takes them at room temp.

I make them in the morning for the day ahead. I make them as per the instructions with boiling water etc. (Always make formula with water at least 70 degrees C as it kills off the bacteria). I stand them in a bowl of cold water to cool them quickly and then put them in the back of the fridge. Luckily she'll drink them cold but I usually get the bottle out about 5/10 minutes before feeding her so it's not really cold. We're going into summer now and it's probably nice for her to have a cold drink anyway.

I make the morning bottle and daycare bottles the night before. I keep them in the fridge overnight and use the bottle warmer with the first one while we're getting changed for the day. If we're home for the day I make them as he gets hungry. I use warm tap water.

She goes through 6 bottles a day i was all of them after her last bottle at 9pm then they dry depends on how i feel is when i actually make them sometimes i get it done before 10:30 other times its closer to 3am im a night person so it doesnt bother me when shes ready i pull it out of the fridge and heat it up in warm running water i have found that the bottle makes a great plug on its own so i set it in the sink just right and the water fills up quickly i let it sit and warm and while its warming i change her butt then bottle is ready
