Do you use a humidifier for your newborn

Question

I'm making an amazon purchase with my gift cards and I'm trying to prioritize since I can't afford everything. My coworker swears by the Vicks humidifier and I've been excited about it for months but now as I try to plan my purchase I'm finding I need to eliminate something. Do you use one? Wish you used one? Life saver? Barely used?

Side note: how many nursing bras should I have. I feel like I may go overboard

It's not just for newborns. You will get a lot of use from it during cold and flue season. My dd is 2 and the warm option really helps when she has a cough. If I didn't have it I would have to do hot steam from the shower.

My son's pediatrician recommended a humidifier for his dry skin and we used it for about a week straight and everything was great. Even my skin was on point. But fast forward to now the humidifier is having an adverse reaction and doing more harm than good. Since it does keep the air so moist it started to make my chest hurt from breathing it in all night and baby actually got a fever of 102 a couple days after we used it this time around. It has great benefits and we were probably that 1 in 100 family that it doesn't work for.

Seeing my baby's fever spike to almost 105 in ER it definitely made me throw it out quickly.

I use the humidifier a lot with my girls. I have 3 nursing bras. Two sleeping ones and one more supportive one got my at Walmart and I love them!

I did a humidifier and I think it was super helpful because my daughter's nose was constantly stopped up and it was easier to suck out the mucus if it was thinned and wet.

For nursing bras, I had two sleeping ones and two daytime ones (with more structure/underwire). That way one could be in the wash and one I could be wearing. Wish I had more but funds were limited and at my size they are super expensive (38G)

I have about 5/6 nursing bras and about 4 sleep nursing bras. Honestly they're so worth it so you're not uncomfortable or stretching out regular bras and shirts. I have about 4/5 nursing tanks as well

I only use my humidifier when she's congested which is when she's teething.  And I have 3 different bras. One has a wire, one is wireless, and one is just a pad less wireless one that's my favorite because I can just lift it or pull it down.
