I got each of my parents these books. "I love you Mom and here's why" and "I love you Dad and here's why". This book has writing prompts for you to tell your parents that you love them because of what you remember as a kid. At the end of the book it asks you to tell your parents something that they don't know and that's how I told them.

I told them right away as well as my inlaws and our siblings. We sent them pictures of what I gave my husband to tell him! We sent the first and after a delay sent the second!

Well the first pregnancy I didn't do anything special lol my mom was there when I took the test so I just came out and told her, and I sentry dad a picture of the positive test then ignored his phone calls for a few hours cause I thought he'd be mad 🙈 (turns out he was super excited) 
Second time I got a box of donuts and wrote on the inside lid "eat up, mommy doesn't want to be the only one with a belly. Love baby Morgan #2"
I have those to my in laws and my mom. 
My dad I told him on his birthday card form my son. It said " I hope you had fun shopping for me this Christmas cause this year you'll have 2 to shop for"
