From what I've personally viewed in my local community, feminism is more about empowerment than it is about equality. So no, I'm not feminist and I refuse to support feminism.

Yes, I agree with equality. That's what feminism stands for. People often argue "I don't like how other feminists act so I'm not going to call myself one" but are you going to stop being Christian because there are crazy ones? Or atheist? No, because you care more about the belief system than you do about the extremists who are misrepresenting your religion. You can call yourself a feminist and you won't turn into some crazy person.
