only use a special BASAL thermometer that has 2 decimal point places not just one like a normal thermometer or it won't work.. I've just ordered 1 (Wink& now prob can't afford groceries lol) but as it's taking a while to deliver I've been using a normal one for last couple of weeks but pretty sure I'm not meant to rely on it at all because of it not having the 2 decimal places.. ah well at least I'm getting into habit of doing it until the posh techy smartphone one arrives lol love gadgets &anything; that links automatically and makes it easier to comply with routine things :) I've heard that tracking temperature only helps u to know after you've ovulated though :os just to look back at patterns.. & started to read the book 'taking charge of your fertility' which says the best thing to track is your cervical Mucus/fluid.. look out for the egg whites ladies! THAT is your go sign! *sprinkles babydust on all who read this message*

I track mine but I still don't know when I ovulated 😐

My doctor told me not to because it causes undue stress and sleep disturbance. She said using opks/ovulation symptoms (CM, ovulation pains) and then getting testing done after a year of no positives is better. I've heard people argue otherwise in ttc groups but I will stick with what my doctor told me for my tracking. We are at a year now but I get positive OPKs and o crams/post-o symptoms every month. We will do testing in a few months once we try another BD strategy a few times.

Yay to my first whole week of BBT! it's weird but it is my first act of the day now. As soon as I awake I grab it off the nightstand and do it then log. It really does register a lot faster after repeated use. I suppose it's more of a curiousity for me at this point as I've given up the idea of conceiving naturally as my partner and I have been trying for a year+. And I've gone through miscarriages that I never ever would wish you anyone. I hope one day it happens, just trying to keep this the least stressful as possible. Logging every day somehow makes the lack of control I've felt up until this point pretty calming. I have hope but I'm in the "if it's meant to be, it'll happen" headspace about jt all. mine is i bought a sophia ray bbt thermometer every day i alarm it at 6 am in the morning before i wake up.. and before i try to conceive i just stop smoking 2 years before ttc and i take a follic acid and iron tablet and when i got ready for ttc i got pregnant after 6 months.. for me its not stressing..
