why is baby on different sides of uterus?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I go in for my NT ultrasound next Wednesday but I was curious to hear from my fellow glow ladies. Most of the time when someone posts a pic of their scan i have no clue what I'm looking at.

Is it possible that they just took it at a different angle? 
First US was vaginal and at 7 weeks. I even saw the flickering of the heart beat.

Second US was done at 9 weeks and I could hear the heart beat.

Any time before 20w your baby has SOOOOO much "free floating" space as my OB calls it, so they really do float around and pick different sides and different angles. 
Up until about 35w, my little boy would still be changing sides, his feet on my left and back on my right and vice versa. They love to move!
Chances are at this coming visit you'll get to see more of your little nugget, at 10w they stopped doing transvaginal for my ultrasounds and I started getting better pictures!
