co sleeping?

Question

Any mamas out there co sleeping? ( baby in bed) we didn't intend to but for a few reasons it works better right now for us. I feel nervous about it. How common is this?

Yup. I love when I wake up to baby latching on and then get to fall back asleep

We're still cosleeping! She is in her crib for naps during the day though because she likes to escape off the bed in stealth mode and come find me. But it works well for us! We all sleep better at night. If she's in her crib she wakes 4-6 times hysterical, but cosleeping she wakes once at 4am to eat and then 8am for the day. Our ped coslept with his wife and baby (hes also a family friend) so we all know it can be done safely. We'll take a week or two soon to sleep train and transition to her crib, I love it for now but don't want to have a toddler in bed with us lol

Baby has two cribs in the house and has slept with his mama since birth haha. I tried him in his crib in our room one night and I barely slept I couldn't wait for him to wake to feed so I could move him back with me. Do what works for you -I don't care about other people's opinions.

I still am. The nurse at the doctor today was not too pleased with it but I know I am being safe. Trying to put him in the crib at night and weaning him in, but I'll miss my nighttime snuggles.

We still cosleep and I love every moment of it. He will go on his crib for naps during the day. He still wakes up every two hours and I work full time, so that's the main reason why he's still sleeping with us.

We can't do it. Not only do I get got and sweaty baby boy does to. It doesn't helped that we put him in our bed the other morning and decided he was going to roll off. We all sleep better when he sleeps in his own bed. As long as you are being safe about it then that is all that matters.

Our baby ocassionally ends up in our bed, usually after 4am (not so dark anymore - I can see him & were not sleeping so deeply anymore) if he's having trouble sleeping and wants food or a cuddle I feed him and pass out while feeding.
There are some "rules" for co sleeping to make it safer, you should try googling some. I make sure baby has enough room, there's not too many pillows near him & blanket isn't loose, I can see him and it's not pitch dark & I usually put my head right next to his (highly doubt I could suffocate him with my face). I wouldn't do that if I didn't feel safe thought, he's happy to sleep in his cot I just have to keep putting dummy in his mouth and hold his little hand throught the bars to help him settle.

We co-slept when we came home from the hospital because she would only sleep on her tummy and it made me so scared to leave her in her crib because she'd always end up on her tummy. It was also easier with how often she was feeding. By a month and a half I had given up and she was in her crib on her tummy and she was sleeping 8-10 hours (with 1 or 2 wake ups every so often). Then we hit the 4 month sleep regression and I ended up sleeping with her on the couch (we have a big L-shaped couch and I would make a blockade so she couldn't fall off and I wake every time she moves) and we just went through it again at 6 months. Every time is only because she needs those extra snuggles and I need more than 20 min of sleep at a time. Every time we go back to the crib and she is just fine.

We cosleep for naps (sometimes I sneak away if I can) and sometimes in the early morning. I always swore that I wouldn't, but it works for us. I just keep my son laid on my arm so I can feel if he moves and pillows are above his head with the blanket at waist level.

I bed shared until tonight lol. He started crawling in his sleep and no amount of barriers can safely keep him in our bed. Tonight is his first night in his crib at almost six months old. It's not going too well lol, but I'm sure he'll adjust.
