Why HPT invalid if taken apart?

I'm honestly wondering why an hpt is invalid if its taken apart?

I don't think you should take it apart while it's drying but once its dry... why not?

Because that's not how you're supposed to take the test. If it doesn't show up positive without taking it apart then it's not positive. You aren't supposed to look at the result after a certain time frame or take the test apart for a reason. It's not an accurate result.

It's considered invalid because it's tampering with the test. Also if it's a digital test, they always have lines in them and people get false hope or confused. Others take this to the extreme and call the company and make complaints/threats.

Kristin. It makes the test invalid whether wet or dry. If it's dry its being read after the allotted time which also makes it invalid

Because the dye will bleed and there will be 2 lines one where the control is and one where the test is many people get false pos that way since they see that test line with bleeded dye
