Contractions???

Okay so I've had BH since about 17 weeks, and they've gotten slightly more painful the further along I've gotten, but still just uncomfortable. Nothing that's really made me thing "oh wow that hurts", until the last week or so. Does BH get more painful by now? I'm 34 weeks today and every single time I have one, it hurts SO BAD. Like I have to stop what I'm doing and double over in pain because it hurts. But they still only last about 30 seconds and they're not regular at all. But they're happening very often, like 4-5 in an hour and then nothing for an hour and then 4-5 the next hour. Should I be concerned? I've also had a lot of clear discharge, I'm not sure if that's connected at all. Also, after each BH, I get a lot of pressure low in my pelvis and a shooting pain, is that normal? It's after midnight so I don't want to go to the doctor if it sounds normal. I've tried calling but so far I can't get anyone on the phone. Ideas???
