Is it spoiled???

Question

I pumped some milk about 4-5 hours ago and I accidentally left it out in a storage bottle sealed on my counter. Room temperature. Can I put it in the fridge and use it tomorrow? Or should I toss it? Smells fine.

I know that breast milk can last in room temperature for 6-8 hours but I'm asking if it's bad to leave it out for so long and then refrigerate it after it's been sitting out.

Was it just room temp? If you left it out somewhere hot then no, room temp it's probably fine. Fresh breast milk actually stays good for a while.

I smell mine to see if it soured as well as check if there is a layer or white line when I tilt the bottle.
 
So far so good.
