convertible car seat suggestions?

Anyone? Budget isn't an issue but looking for safety over bells and whistles and don't want to spend more than we have to...TIA

We use the diono Rainer and while it is expensive, honestly, it's so sturdy, made of steel and great! We have 3 little ones and have gone through many, this is our favorite

We're going with the Nuna Rava. I love all Nuna products because they put so much research into everything they make, and the quality is obvious. The Rava has some amazing safety features that makes it stand out, but I also love it because it fits taller kids (I'm 5'11" so my son is bound to be tall). It comes with a hefty price tag (around $450), but convertible car seats are meant to last a very long time so it's worth it.

We got a safety first seat. Nothing flashy. it stays rear facing up to 40 pounds which is what I was looking for. The booster part of the seat is good for up to 100 pounds so we won't have up worry about him out growing it
