Kegle ball falling out

Okay so i got some kegla balls that are joined together (i read to many stories of the separated balls being hard to remove) i tried them out this morning... i did use lube to help insert but the balls kept buldging at the entrance... so i took them out cleaned up the lube and put them back in but they still did the same thing just without the sliding around... could the kegel balls be too long for me? Or is this how they're meant to sit? I was thinking of cutting them in half and only using one ball...

I have birth 2 children my yongest being 6 weeks old, i dont have trouble with them falling out i can keep them in quite fine but the buldging is pretty uncomfortable...they dont poke out so to say they just sit inside and push down like they're trying to escape
