really scary birth but she's perfect!!

I'm just now able to talk about my labor/delivery on Tuesday 5/23.. it was the scariest 24 hrs of my life and I am so thankful we are both ok.. Peyton was 41 weeks and I was scheduled for an induction that day anyway but decided to go to the hospital a day earlier cause I was having the worse back labor and was running off no sleep in 3 days.. after I was admitted I slept for a few hrs and than I started to try and jump start active labor a little more.. walking, bouncing all that good stuff.. a few hrs later I was dilated to a 4 and things were looking good.. I was in a lot of pain still cause of my back labor.. the doctors thought she might be sunnyside up and that was causing the pain.. anyway hrs later I was not moving past a 5.5 by myself so they decided to start pitocin only problem was that every time I had a contraction my baby's heart rate would drop like a lot.. 170 down to the 40s for mins at a time.. longest one was 7 mins.. every nurse on the floor would run in a flip me and give me oxygen and she would bounce right back.. well they kept stopping my contractions and turning off the meds so I would just have to wait an hr and try again.. anyway we did this 4 awful times and the last time was the worse so after that my husband and I decided she needed to come out and went ahead with the c-section.. good thing we did too cause she not only was sunnyside up so was also wedged deep in my pelvis and her cord was wrapped around her foot.. they were not gentle with my surgery and it took forever to hear her cry but once she did it was the greatest moment of my life.. I'm in a lot of pain but it's totally worth it.. she is so sweet and the cutest little thing.. her dad and I love her so very much!!
