Finding of length of gestation???

Question

I'm 24 weeks today, and have had a pretty normal pregnancy. However, on my online chart I just read under "problems" findings of length of gestation. No one has said anything at my appointments, and I just don't know what this means. At my 20 week scan the tech said everything looked great.

Unless someone (ie doctor or midwife) has specifically told you otherwise, you can be pretty sure your pregnancy (which sounds normal by all accounts) will be around the normal length of gestation: 40 weeks from the first day of your last period. No one can tell you exactly how long your baby's gestation will be because no one knows. Some baby's are born earlier or later than 40 weeks, but each pregnancy, baby, and woman are different. My personal average length of gestation is about 41 weeks (after 3 kids, I know to tack on another week).
