After 3 months of spending a fair amount of dough on those for nothing, I wised up and ordered the "cheapie" ovulation sticks on Amazon. I was testing my ovulation a couple times per day, so I saved a lot of cash...but not sanity haha 
A bonus was that the ovulation test strips came with a ton of pregnancy tests too, so I was able to keep up my obsession of testing and retesting 😆 
Plus, I'd have a heck of a time getting the cartridges in the reader with enough time to wee.

Nope but the Wondfo and Blue Cross definitely played a big part in letting us know when it was time to try. I charted for months and checked cervical mucus with no luck. The first month of using ovulation test strips we got our positive. We had been having unprotected sex without actively trying for 3 years though. As soon as I quit drinking soda and started taking vitamins I got pregnant.

Answer

I charted using a bbt thermometer and my cervical mucus. I could tell I was pregnant even before​ testing due to my chart. I had no need to buy ovulation tests.
