It could, but it could be normal. Not all babies with Down syndrome have a smaller nasal bone. My sons was normal size and he has Down syndrome. So ultrasounds really aren't all that reliable unless your baby has significant heart defects.

Yes it could. With down syndrome the nasal bone can either be barely there or non at all. My son had a small nasal bone.
