Words of encouragement

Miranda • Just a couple trying to start a family. ❤

Hey ladies (and few guys)!

So I just need some words of encouragement.

Two nights ago I thought our little boy was being his typical brat self and was pushing in my belly but downwards. Just a few times and really active.

Next morning (2:30a), I wake up for work and I feel the occasional push feeling again. Well, as my day passed, it happened more and more...and got cramp like. After working late (go figure) and getting home, I call my doctor's office and the main nurse calls me back and I explain what I've been feeling and didn't know if it was normal. She recommended me to visit my labor and delivery asap.

Turns out, I was having contractions every few mins and 4cm. Problem? I'm about 26 weeks along. I'm terrified. I'm staying as strong as possibly for my husband and our growing son. They have managed to slow the rate of contractions down for 1 or 2 an hour.

I just need words of encouragement to help me mentally. We're lucky we have a wonderful hospital team with a level 3 NICU NICU on-site... This pregnancy has been going so smoothly without issues and this just happened out of no where.

Thank you.

Thank you! Yes! I was so nervous to call and it just be nothing and feel stupid about it. But I'm glad I did. Just wish I didn't have to leave work an hour late and could have called sooner.

My friend had her son at 25 weeks and now he's 20 years old and perfect. No physical or mental issues at all.no health issues, even. And that was twenty years ago!

Thank you. I'm hoping he decideds to stay in longer and I can go home and finish the last 14 week's out (or as much as possible).
