coparenting. am I wrong?

Question

Baby father and I have been having calm talks about our son. He wants to have 2 days where the baby is at his house with him and his friends/girlfriend and I said that I won't leave my son til he's about 2 where I know he can be looked after properly.

He then begins to call me jealous and that it's his baby he can do what he likes and he will take ME to court.

I can't see why I should leave my baby's side and bring him back and fourth every 2 days instead of settling to an environment but opinions? 
Edit: I have told him that he can visit by me as long as he likes with his girlfriend if that makes it better. I just don't want to leave my baby for every other 2 days and especially with no financial support from him. The baby will be born July.

No your not, when your baby is still young I personally think they should be with their mom.

You're not more of a parent just because you're the mom. He's should be involved in his child life the same way you're going to be and if he wants to have his kid for two days out of a 7 day week then you should let him.

Two days isnt alot to spend with your child imaginr if you only got two days to spend with him/her how would you fell allow him the two days put your self in his shoes and be greatful that your babies dad actually want to be involed in your childs life co-parenting is what its all about 😊

If he is not giving any financial support. Let him take u to court he has to pay child suport than. But a tiny baby like that should not be draged around every other day.

I would be wherever my baby is. Sorry if they don't like it but I couldn't leave my newborn for 2 days without seeing him. You're a package now and in due time, of their relationship is strong then he can start getting the baby familiar with another lady but for now, baby needs mum

It depends on the courts in your area.  When I went to court for my oldest child the ONLY thing that stopped my ex from being able to take our son was that he was exclusively breastfed​ and I did not own a pump nor was I in a position to buy one.   The judge told my ex if he provided a pump then he could take the baby which my ex refused to do.    However when my ex filed that court paperwork he started a chain reaction.   Child support court got involved as well as the fact because I was on. Medicaid he was responsible for EVERYTHING they paid for because we were not married.

He is right, you have to let him spend time with his baby (not only yours). Next time tell him you want just his sperm and child support.

All Father's have a right to be in their child's life!! Especially if they want to. They blessed us with our babies and we should give them equal rights. It's not about you anymore it's about what is best for the child and having both parents active in its life is essential. I understand it'll be difficult for you but it's best for you child. Father's should only pay child stupor if they do not want to be active in their child life.
