Any May Moms still nursing?

I was wondering who is still nursing? Also when do you stop? FTM here, I don't see her letting up anytime soon. Is that okay? How do I transition off? And any way I can do it without my boobs deflating? 😆

I have a 13 month old and still nursing...during the day he still nurses every 2 to 3 hours! But I'm ok with that and I love it! I say nurse. For as long as you want! Let baby lead the way!

I fed til 11 and half months. I weaned my LO off of it over a couple of months by only feeding at night and occasionally trying to introduce a bottle, which he hated at first and I thought he'd never get used to it. As soon as he took the bottle properly I started introducing it more and more in the evenings and would BF one night and bottle feed the next until I was only bottle feeding. I thought he would still try to grab for me but he doesn't and 3 weeks on he is totally on the bottle and doing great with it. He never slept while BF and now I get 6 hours through the night which is amazing! I got sore swollen breasts 2 weeks after stopping by I massaged out a couple of lumps in a hot shower and now it's fine (although very painful!)

Yes! But only before bed, at night and wake up. My boobs have totally deflated even though this has been a slow process. Issue is that he never took a bottle so never enjoyed formula or cows milk. I hardly offer him any cow milk because he doesn't like it. 😩

I am and I just returned to work part time so I'm trying to decrease the amount of times she nurses during the days I'm home by giving her more food and water. I've heard slow weaning is supposed to help lessen the degree of "deflation" but I'm pretty sure most of the damage is done with all the stretching that happened in the first few months while supply was regulating. Exercises that work your chest muscles will help keep them a tad perkier but not really fuller 🙁 good luck!

I am! Not sure when I'm stopping. My LO barely drinks from a bottle when I'm at work, waits for me to get home to nurse

I am! Not sure how much longer I am going to. But my LO is gaining weight just fine and we have a great routine. So I don't know when we are going to stop. I'm hoping she will make it easy and obvious for me when to stop.
