Budget for eating out?!

My husband and I have been wondering where all of our money has been going... I know we have been going out to eat too much but I never realized how much it costs. I added up the cost of meals out and coffees in the last month and it was $1,020. I'm so embarrassed, I can't believe we had to dip into our savings account to pay a couple bills when we were wasting money every week on eating out.

We are starting a new budget and I'm curious how much you budget for going out to dinner? We are expecting twins in September, we really need to make a budget and stick to it so we can afford all the new changes that comes with babies.

Maybe limit it to one dinner out a week? No more than $50 unless it's a special occasion.

We spend about 35$ a week on going to lunch together after church... And I get coffees (plan to quit soon) that are another 30$ a week. About. 
I think this is all still high for us... As we don't make much money

We have this same problem! Not that we can't pay our bills but we spent over $1000 eating out this month. We are such foodies and love tipping well but it's insane how quickly it adds up!

We eat out once a week at $30 each time for 3 of us, my husband, daughter and I. The other 6 days I cook. We spend $350 a month on food and drinks, like meals and snacks and beverages.

We have one toddler and we budget 250 for eating out (which is probably STILL too much- but we cut that down ALOT from where we were!!)
